At VMware Explore, I attempted to take a VCF certification as it was free of charge, so why not? I have no working experience with the product, so it went as expected. I have to study and retry. However, i noticed that the Certification path I have been following with VMware now is coined “Legacy”

To me, this is another “Show and tell” that VMware is now pushing VCF as the only product going forward.

The offered certifications are VVF Support and VVF Administrator – I would guess these ones are close to the VCP-DCV (Data Center Virtualization).
I attempted the VCF Administrator exam at the conference, and the questions focused on installation and configuration. In addition there is a VCF Architect which i figure is focused on designing Private Cloud Environments
I will, for my own sake, focus on the VCF product line in the VMware Hands on Labs, and retrain myself to take the VCF certifications… Another good source can be VMware Learning.
